Important limitations you must understand:
- AI-generated diagnoses and repair estimates are not a substitute for in-person inspection by a qualified mechanic.
- Quoted prices, part costs, and labor times are estimates only and may change after physical inspection of your bike.
- The AI may make errors, misinterpret symptoms, or provide incomplete guidance. Door To Door Bike Repair is not liable for any decisions made based solely on AI output.
- DIY repair guidance provided by the AI is offered for informational purposes only. Proceed at your own risk. We are not responsible for injury, damage, or further mechanical issues resulting from self-repairs.
- Always confirm details with a technician before proceeding with any repair work.
3. Repair Quotes & Estimates
Quotes provided through our platform — whether generated by AI or communicated by a team member — are estimates based on the information and photos provided. Final pricing is determined after physical inspection of the bicycle and may differ from any initial estimate. You will be informed of any material changes before work begins.
4. Memberships — Cancellation & Refunds
Door To Door Bike Repair offers several membership plans (Premium, Commuter, Family, Family+). The following terms apply to all membership purchases:
- Cancellation: You may cancel your membership at any time by contacting us at info@doortodoorrepair.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing or service period.
- Refunds: Refunds for unused portions of membership plans are issued at our sole discretion. If a service included in your plan has already been rendered (e.g., a tune-up completed), that service is considered consumed and non-refundable. We will work in good faith to provide a fair resolution for unused entitlements.
- Plan Changes: We reserve the right to modify, discontinue, or restructure membership plans at any time. Existing members will be notified of material changes with reasonable advance notice.
- Non-transferable: Membership benefits apply only to the registered member and their household bikes as specified in the plan. They may not be transferred or resold.
5. Right to Refuse Service
Door To Door Bike Repair reserves the right to refuse, cancel, or discontinue service to any individual or organization at our sole discretion, including but not limited to situations involving:
- Abusive, threatening, or harassing behavior toward staff or AI systems
- Misrepresentation of bike condition, location, or customer information
- Fraudulent payment or chargeback abuse
- Requests that are unsafe, unlawful, or outside our service area
- Violation of any provision of these Terms of Service
In cases of service refusal, any prepaid amounts for services not yet rendered will be refunded at our discretion.
6. User Responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate information about your bike, including honest descriptions of issues and clear photos when requested. You agree not to use our services for any unlawful purpose. Misrepresentation of your bike's condition or your personal information may result in revised pricing, cancelled service, or permanent account suspension.
7. Photo Uploads
When you upload photos of your bike through our platform or AI chat, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to use those photos for the purpose of assessing repair needs, communicating with our technicians, and improving our diagnostic systems. You represent that you own the photos or have the right to share them. We will not sell your photos to third parties.
8. Privacy & Data
Your use of our services is governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information, including data you share through our AI chat. By using our services you consent to the data practices described therein.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including text, graphics, logos, images, and AI system designs — is the property of Door To Door Bike Repair LLC or its licensors and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws. No content may be reproduced, distributed, or used commercially without written authorization.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Door To Door Bike Repair LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services, including AI-generated content, repair estimates, or DIY guidance. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
